Mama's Treasure Box

This week for the Designer Darling Competition we had to make a kit without using commercial use products except for our own.  Quite a challenge with the time restraints but I made it.  whew!

When my mama died my dad gave me a little box full of "junk" about which he said, "I had no idea why she kept this stuff".  When we went through it there were lots of things from her childhood, and from the time when she and Dad were dating. And even a piece of 60+ year old wedding cake wrapped in a napkin and tied with a ribbon from her wedding!  I have had a lot of fun looking through those old treasures and decided to scan a few to add to this kit.  If I had had more time I would have done more, so keep watching...I am sure you will see more of these treasures showing up in future kits. That bike is a brooch, and I LOVE that sachet.  There were a number of old keys, all of which looked like they went to small locks or diaries...and tons of buttons, so you for sure are going to see more of them. :-)
