Sweet Summershine - and a Freebie

This week I got to play with “Sweet Summershine” from Keystone Scraps.  This is a sweet summer kit with lots of fun garden elements.  The colors are soft and pretty so it is also good for layouts of your little ones.  I especially like all the flowers and that sweet little bunny.  AND…it is on sale right now at Scraps-N-Pieces.  Go grab it HERE.
I made a couple of layouts for you to show off some of the pretty elements in this kit. Enjoy!
Don’t you just love baby pictures?  And grand babies are the BEST!  I just love those little baby feet!
My granddaughter love hair “pretties” and had to have lots in her hair.  So fun!
I have a freebie for you too. Head on over to the SNP blog post  HERE to pick up your freebie.

Amy’s Kitchen – and a freebie

This week I had the opportunity to work - well, play :-) with the Amy’s Kitchen and Amy’s Kitchen Add-On kits from Amy’s Designs.  What fun kits.  I think I need to take more pictures of baking and cooking activities just so I can use these kits to scrap them.  Just so pretty.
You can find Amy’s Kitchen and Amy’s Kitchen Add-On in the Scrap-N-Pieces Store Here. Amy’s Kitchen is on sale right now so you will want to grab it soon.
I have two layouts to show you.  Aren’t they fun?  I love these blues for the first layout because they are the same colors of my sis-in-law’s kitchen.  She and my brother run a wonderful B&B in western South Dakota and we have enjoyed many holiday events there.
This second layout is of some wildflowers I photographed in the Beartooth Mountains of Wyoming.  It is a favorite place of ours. The season is short in the high mountains but late June and early July bring an abundance of beautiful flowers in every hue – not to be missed!
I also made a freebie cluster for you. Download Link HERE

SNP Berry Sweet Blog Train

It is that time again...
Time for the newest blog train from Scraps-N-Pieces.  I love the colors this month.  They are just luscious -  a little bit of berry harvest and a whole lot YUMMY! It makes me homesick for when we lived in Utah and used to go cherry picking in the orchards.  I don't know what was better, eating them right off the tree or the yummy backed goods I made with them.

Here is my part.  The image is linked.

I also have a little bonus for you on my facebook page. Please give me a "Like" and grab the goodies.

Be sure to visit the rest of the train below for some "berry sweet" goodies.  Enjoy!

I love that "Grand Old Flag" plus a freebie

Today I have a new kit to tell you about.  It is “Grand Old Flag” from Fit to Be Scrapped and it is a really fun kit.  With just a bit of grunge and lots of good old Red, White and Blue it is perfect for your summer holiday photos.  I love the sanded stars and the fun alphabet that matches them.  So fun together.  There are also lots of word art embellishments to fit your patriotic needs.  And not only that, it is on sale right now in the Scraps-N-Pieces store.
I did two layouts to show you some of the fun things in the kit. I hope you enjoy them.

Also I have a little freebie cluster frame for you.  Download link HERE

Fresh Start kit call

Pink Poppy Press had a kit call this week for people to try her new Fresh Start kit, and post their layouts online.  I got to be one of those to try this kit and it is really lovely.  I like the softness and art journal feel to it.  The kit has several elements and overlays (including a mask) to create several different effects. I love the paint spatters and grid layer especially.  I used several of the papers layered and blended to get the bit of grunge on my pages.  I really like how they turned out.  I hope you do too.  The kit is available at the Mscraps store.

Here are my layouts.  Enjoy.

Karen Diamond Designs

Karen asked what is our favorite kit of hers...or what do we have on our wish list. I have several of her kits and there are several more on my wish list but right now I am eyeing the  Grandma's Touch Bundle available in Karen's store at Scrap-N-Pieces HERE
I am in love with the soft colors and the vintage elements.  I have seen some layouts done with it and they are beautiful.  I know I would use it a lot, especially for the tons of old photos I need to scrap.  I love that this kit has colors good for both men and women and yet they are still soft and vintage-y feeling. The fact that the bundle comes with styles, extra papers and glitter papers just adds to the value.  Yep, it is next on my list!

Scraps-N-Pieces: When In Rome + Freebie

n it

I have been playing with Scraps-N-Pieces’s awesome When In Rome
kit and I am totally smitten.  This beautiful kit has richly colored papers
and rustic elements.  It is just gorgeous!  And the best part is you can
get it for half price right now at Scrap-N-Pieces.

I have some layouts to show you. This first one is quite simple
but I think it turned out really beautiful.

The second one uses a blended photo for the background and
shows how this kit can be used for elegant occasions.

This third one took a little more work with all the clipping and
layering but I absolutely love how it turned out – and how the kit
elements compliment my rustic photo.
This kit is so versatile and you can get so many different moods with it.
I also made you a freebie.  Download Link HERE.

Don’t forget this kit is on sale for this week only at the
